Cooperative banks in Goa get nod to offer gold loans

Cooperation minister Govind Gaude said on Monday that the state government has decided to allow cooperative societies to offer gold loans to their customers. He said that the government is planning to formulate a scheme to provide relief to borrowers with Non-Performing Assets (NPA).
