Digital Goa, May 29 : Rs 90 crore worth Mini Convention Center with auditorium having sitting capacity of 1,300 will be coming up near the Rua De Ourem Creek side at Panaji in the next one and half years time informed CM Pramod Sawant today. CM laid the foundation stone of the project today amidst Covid Pandemic triggered lockdown. The project is being taken up by state Tourism Dept and GTDC in collaboration with the central govt. “The sitting capacity of the auditorium is much more than Kala Academy. The convention center will be useful for national and international conventions, exhibitions etc once center starts tourism with new SOP,” opined Sawant.
