Digital Goa, May 28: One more person who had travelled to Goa from Maharashtra by road tested positive for Covid-19 infection while one more person was declared cured of the dreaded infection today. The count of active Covid positive patients, who are housed in Covid Hospital Margao, now stands at 31. Total 983 samples were tested today of which one tested positive, 886 are negative while 96 reports are awaited. Presently 218 people are placed under institutional quarantine centers across Goa while 2 patients are under hospital isolation. All 416 seafarers who arrived in the state on 3 rescue flight from Italy on May 20 have completed 7 days facility quarantine and have been placed under home quarantine for another 7 days in accordance with new SOP from MHA.
