Monsoon onset likely in Goa by June 5-6, says IMD

Goa may see the arrival of monsoon in the first week of June. Formation of a low-pressure area over the southeast and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea during May 31 to June 4 is likely to advance the date for the onset of southwest monsoon this year.
