Dec 29 – Police have nabbed an engineer from Odisha for allegedly blackmailing and threatening shack and club operators in Calangute area by impersonating as high rank government official. The accused identified as 31-year-old Manoj Kumar, allegedly approached the operators posing as IAS officer. He also had a fake IAS officer ID card with him. He was arrested from a resort in Calangute.
