We will purchase power from open market to deal with power shortage: Dhavlikar

Digital Goa, Apr 18 – Power minister Sudin Dhavalikar has said that his department has decided to purchase power from open market to tackle power shortage in the state. I will send the file for purchase of power from open market to the CM today. Final decision will be taken by CM”, he said. He admitted that there is shortage of 125 to 150 MW power daily in the state due to summer season. This shortage can be met with open market, he assured delegation from industrialists, who are badly affected by power shortage in the state.
