Digital Goa, Mar 31 – Additional Sessions Court, Margao today granted exemption to former Power Minister Mauvin Godinho from appearing before the court in the alleged Rs 4.52 crore Power Rebate Scam of 1998. Godinho had sought exemption from appearing. The case has been further adjourned to April 7 for trial evidence. Chargesheet was filed against former the power minister , besides two industrial units and four others by Crime Branch.
