Digital Goa, Apr 15 – Picnic turned tragic for a group of youth after one of them got drowned in the Dudhsagar river at Dabhal. The deceased is identified as 21-year-old student Yoganand Gaude from Bethora, Ponda. One more friend of Yoganand identified as Santosh Desari (age 20 years) who also got drifted in the water along with him was rescued by locals and shifted to GMC for treatment. The incident happened when the group had gone for riverside picnic today morning. Yogananda’s body was recovered from the river in the evening after extensive search operation.
