Online Building Approval System scaled up for all types of buildings with built-up area of 5,000 sq mts

Digital Goa, Mar 31 – The Town & Country Planning Department’s online Building Plan Approval Management System(BPAMS) which was used for giving approvals to only single family dwellings as of now will be scaled up for all types of buildings up to a built-up area of 5,000 sq mts. Initially, both options of online and as well as offline approvals will be available. “Town and Country Planning and PDAs will scale up online approval system (BPAMS) for all types of buildings up to a built-up area of 5,000 sq mts as an option to applicants while continuing with offline method till further order,” states an order issued by Pr. Secretary(TCP) & Chief Secretary Puneet Kumal Goel. CM Pramod Sawant had announced the scaling up in his budget speech yesterday.
