Specifies TCP Dept hierarchy for granting technical clearances
Digital Goa, Mar 31 – Goa government has issued an order dissolving committee constituted for recommending proposals to the Town & Country Planning Department based on Regional Plan 2021. In an order issued yesterday, Goa government has also issued revised directions specifying hierarchical level of powers for grant of technical clearance orders and approval under Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations by Town and Country Planning Department and Development Permission under TCP Act.
Technical clearances for building projects upto 1,000 sq mtr buildup area and land development proposals of upto 10,000 sq mtr area will be dealt with by the TCP department at Taluka level.
Technical clearances for building projects upto 2,000 sq mtr buildup area and land development proposals of upto 20,000 sq mtr area will be dealt with by the TCP department at District level.
The Chief Town Planner(Planning) will handle technical clearances for building projects above 2,000 sq mtr buildup area and land development proposals above 20,000 sq mtr area.
Application for revision, extension without exceeding the total area will also be dealt with by the TCP Department at the respective hierarchical level.
All approvals which are required to be approved by the government as per the statutes shall be referred to the govt for approval with the recommendation of Chief Town Planner(planning)
For works under Planning and Development Authority(PDA), all applications of Development permission including renewal of permission/revision, NOC under Sec 49(6) of the TCP Act, Zoning certificate and completion order are to be processed and issued at the level of Member Secretary.
