Digital Goa, Apr 4 – Dr Jaiprakash Tiwari’s appointment as Dean of GMC will be kept on hold. Dr Shivanand Bandekar will continue to hold the charge as Dean, GMC for now. It is learnt that the Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane asked CM Sawant to keep the order on hold. Through an order issued earlier today, Goa govt had promoted Dr Tiwari, Professor in Nephrology at Goa Medical College as Dean, GMC as per recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee as conveyed by the Goa Public Service Commission .
