BMC resolves to declare Bicholim as garbage free town, seeks feedback from public within 15 days

Digital Goa, Mar 23 – Bicholim Municipal Council (BMC) has resolved to declare all its 14 wards as garbage free wards and the town as garbage free city. The civic body has sought feedback, suggestions and objections in this regards from the public within next 15 day. The resolution has been taken based on declarations received from self help groups, school children, citizens and councilors of concerned wards, states a public notice issued by BMC. “If no feedbacks/suggestions/ objections are received within the stipulated time, then all the wards mentioned above will be declared as garbage free wards/garbage free city,” the notice adds.
