Migrant workers throng railway stations after Goa govt’s lockdown announcement

Digital Goa, Apr 28 – Chaotic situation was witnessed today on most railway stations of Goa, especially Vasco and Margao after migrant workers thronged railway stations for boarding trains to their respective home towns. Trains are reported to be full beyond capacity. Migrant workers are flocking towards major railway stations in an attempt to move out of the state, after Goa Government declared a 4 day lockdown. The state will go for lockdown from Thursday, April 29 evening to Monday, May 3 morning.
