Goa to go for 4 day lockdown from Thursday 7 pm to Monday 6 am

Digital Goa, Apr 28 – Goa will go for a 4 day lockdown from tomorrow announced CM Pramod Sawant today. The lockdown will be in force from tomorrow (Thursday, April 29) evening after 7pm to Monday (May 3) morning. “People need not panic. All essential services including grocery stores will be open. Kitchens of restaurants will be open for home delivery of food. Public transport will be completely shut down,” Sawant added.
▪ Industrial services within campuses will be permitted. They will have to arrange their own transport.

▪ Govt essential services will continue
▪ Casinos will be closed
▪ Bar & restaurants home delivery permitted . Consumers can also go and pick up food items from restaurants
▪ Grocery shops will be open as usual . No timings set
▪ Some areas will be marked as containment zones
▪ Weddings with 50 persons will be permitted
▪ Religious functions can continue by following SOPs
▪ Vaccination will continue with appointments
▪ From Monday all activities will commence
▪ Detailed notification will be issued by 5 pm today through collectors.
OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
▪ DDSSY card scheme will be available for covid treatment . 70 to 80 % payment of covid treatment will be taken care of by DDSSY scheme
▪ Vaccination centers shifted from Health Centers to closed schools or other govt premises
▪ Test reports will be available with 24-hours from tomorrow.
