Covid claims 24 more lives, 13 died within 24-hours of admission

Digital Goa, Apr 28 – Covid claimed 24 more lives in Goa taking the death toll of the state to 1,110.
Incidentally 4 of the deceased had taken first dose of the Covid vaccine.
Total 13 i.e. nearly 54 % of the 24 deaths occurred within 24-hours of hospital admission.
12 deaths were recorded at SGDH, 11 at GMC and one at private hospital in South Goa.
74-year-old man from Margao, 67-year-old man from Sankval, 62-year-old woman from Panaji, 75-year-old woman from Quepem, 66-year-old woman from Caranzalem, 35-year-old woman from Aquem, 70-year-old man from Bardez, 63-year-old man from Sanguem, 70-year-old man from Tivim, 76-year-old man from Paroda, 63-year-old man from Cuncolim, one unidentified man , 58-year-old man from Vasco, 72-year-old woman from Mapusa, 67-year-old man from Salcete, 70-year-old woman from Salcete, 53-year-old man from Haryana, 76-year-old man from Quepem, 80-year-old woman from Candolim, 46-year-old man from Fatorda, 67-year-old man from Siloim, 68-year-old woman from Carambolim, 62-year-old man from Siolim and a 81-year-old woman from Bicholim succumbed to covid in last 24-hours.
