Digital Goa, Dec 30 – Ganja plantation is not acceptable and BJP will oppose it strongly said BJP state President Sadanand Shet Tanawade. “I spoke to CM Sawant and CM has told me that there is no decision to allow such plantations,” he added. “CM will scrap ganja cultivation proposal as we are opposed to it,” added Minister and Calangute MLA Michael Lobo after meeting CM Pramod Sawant. “In 24 hours time it needs to be scrapped,” Lobo asserted

Goa government will have complete control over the proposed cannabis plantation which is to be grown for medicinal use informed PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar. The proposal will be discussed in the cabinet, he added. Asserting that cannabis cultivation for use as narcotic drug was an illegal activity, he added ,“Only our government is capable of bringing control over the drug menace.”
