Digital Goa, Sept 28 – Goa police have today registered the death of 18-year-old Anisha Velip from Padi as a case of murder, after forceful drowning was ascertained as the cause of her death in post mortem. Anisha’s body was found near a rivulet at Padi yesterday under mysterious circumstances. Family members told the police that she had gone to the rivulet to wash clothes. A 22-year-old youth from Cavrem, identified as Sarvesh Gaonkar, who was seen in the vicinity of the girl is the prime suspect in the case according to police. Sarvesh’s body also was found hanging on a tree at Cavrem yesterday.
