Digital Goa, July 28 – The testing of Covid patients’ contacts will be more focused in future in order to reduce the number of pendency of reports. The doctor incharge of concerned area will decide whom to test so that there are no unnecessary testing done on large number of people, said CM Pramod Sawant. Only people having symptoms and those close to the patient will be tested. The pendency which is to the tune of 6,000 plus is due to tests done on the entire locality due to pressure from the local representatives, he said. He also said that the new District Hospital in Margao will be inaugurated shortly once all the Operation Theatres are ready.
