Panaji: State government has decided to pay a honorarium of Rs 50,000 each to Swayampurna Mitras and taluka nodal officers, the civil service officials who worked for implementation of Swayampurna Goa programme, in making Goa self-reliant.
Director of planning, statistics and evaluation Dr Y Durga Prasad issued an order conveying the sanction by the government for incurring an
expenditure amounting to Rs 1.02 crore towards honorarium payment to the officers, who worked in connection with implementation of Swayampurna Goa programme.
The government has appointed 194 Swayampurna Mitras, the senior civil service officials deputed in the local bodies for implementation of Swayampurna Goa programme for making Goa self-reliant.
It has also appointed 14 taluka nodal officers to coordinate with the local bodies in the assignment.
The government has been implementing the Swayampurna Goa programme from October 2, 2020.
