MGP’s senior leader and Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar, on Friday, reiterated his demand for 15-day strict lockdown in the state, wherein only essential services should be allowed, to control the further spread of the deadly virus.
Dhavalikar released a video over the demand to the media.
Speaking further, Dhavalikar expressed that almost every business establishment has been allowed to operate in the present lockdown announced by the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and with such lockdown the state won’t be able to control COVID situation in the state.
“Even doctors under IMA-Goa have voiced the need for a proper lockdown in the state for at least 15 days to break the chain of the virus. And despite of being doctor, if CM can’t understand the seriousness of the virus, then God save the people of the state,” he said.
“If the rise in the number of COVID cases continues like the present one, medical staff in the state won’t be able to handle the cases, and they will lose their patience, so will the people,” Dhavalikar opined.
Before it is too late, the state should impose strict lockdown in the state, he demanded.
