Digital Goa, June 29 : Social media was abuzz with words of appreciation for a police constable after a video of him rescuing a python from a power transformer went viral. PC Shashikant Balashetti attached to Vasco Police Station managed to rescue a python which had crawled up a power transformer. The presence of the python on the transformer was making it difficult for the electricians to take up repair work for the area which had power supply issues today. CM Sawant took to twitter to appreciate Balashetti. “ Appreciate the bravery of Recruit Police Constable Shashikant Balashetti at Vasco Police Station as he rescued a python from a power transformer,” CM twitted.
