DTE confirms July 4 & 5 as dates for GCET-2020. Separate arrangements to be made for students from containment zone

Digital Goa, June 26 : Directorate of Technical Education today announced schedule for the GCET-2020 , confirming that the qualifying entrance exam for the engineering and pharmacy degree programmes in Goa will be held on July 4 and July 5. Physics and Chemistry papers will be conducted on Saturday, July 4 from 10 am to 4 pm while Maths paper will be held on Sunday July 5, from 10 am to 12 noon. Govt has specified that requisite arrangement for thermal screening, sanitization etc will be done at the centers. Candidates from containment zone are asked to contact 9422454791 on or before June 29 to ensure that appropriate arrangements are made for them to answer the entrance exam. Around 2,950 students have registered so far to answer the test. Late registrations to answer GCET closes today i.e. June 26.
