Education dept withdraws blanket NOC given to Secondary and Higher Secondary schools for hiring staff

Digital Goa, May 29 : In a circular issued today, the state education department has withdrawn the blanket no objection certificate (NOC) granted to all the aided secondary and higher secondary schools in the state to fill up permanent vacancies of posts that have fallen vacant due to retirement on superannuation, resignation, voluntary retirement and the demise of teaching and non-teaching staff of the Grant-in-aid institutions. Schools have now been asked to follow the older (pre 2013) process of approaching the Directorate of Education to obtain NOC before filling up the post of teaching and non-teaching staff.
